Shonshen is a full stack web application that provides a robust database foundation, acting as a highly reliable retrieval backend. It allows external models to generate accurate answers based on exact, proprietary data—a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture that we have successfully implemented to power our own PowerDia app. Beyond RAG, Shonshen empowers building across the entire AI spectrum. For Generative AI (GenAI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Deep Learning workloads, it seamlessly integrates complex vector operations by natively utilizing pgvector. Furthermore, Shonshen leverages PostGIS and MobilityDB to manage dynamic GPS tracking, robust spatial mapping, and coordinate data for advanced Computer Vision (CV) applications.
